Die Shuttle Inc., ein führender Entwickler und Hersteller von
Multi-Form-Factor-Lösungen wie den weltbekannten XPC
Mini-PC-Barebones, kündigt den Verkaufsstart eines neuen
All-in-One-PCs an. Die zweite Auflage des X50 verspricht
eindrucksvolle Verbesserungen und zusätzliche Funktionen.

Etwa ein Jahr nach der erfolgreichen Markteinführung erscheint nun
das X50V2 Barebone, das in Zukunft ebenfalls als Komplettsystem,
wahlweise mit Windows 7 oder Linux, angeboten werden wird.

Geringerer Energieverbrauch ist nur einer der vielen Vorteile des
Nachfolgers. Shuttle setzt im X50V2 Barebone auf die neue Intel Atom
Plattform mit D510 Dual-Core-Prozessor (2x 1,66 GHz) und dem NM10
Express Chipsatz.

Die Neuauflage X50V2 wird erstmals vollständig passiv gekühlt,
damit extrem leise und wartungsarm. Der Stromverbrauch des nur 3,6 cm
dünnen PCs konnte zugleich um fast 50 % gesenkt werden. Die Größe
des unterstützten Arbeitsspeichers wurde auf 4 GB erhöht. Neu sind
eine parallele und zwei serielle Schnittstellen auf der Rückseite des
X50V2, die es für spezielle Anwendungen deutlich attraktiver machen.
Die praktische Webcam, integrierte Stereo-Lautsprecher, WLAN (N),
Cardreader und ein Standfuß, der bei Bedarf zum Tragegriff wird, sind
auch hier vorhanden. Die genormte VESA-Montagefläche ermöglicht die
Befestigung an Monitorarmen und Wandhalterungen zur frei schwebenden
Nutzung des Gerätes.

Das neue Shuttle X50V2 Barebone ist in den Farben Schwarz oder Weiß
ab sofort im Handel erhältlich. Die unverbindliche Preisempfehlung
von Shuttle liegt bei 419,- Euro (inkl. 19% MwSt.).

Omtec-KG, erweitert seine erfolgreiche NISE Embedded Industrie PC Serie nun mit dem neuen  NISE-3144 System.

 

Mit dem neuen Nise 3144 stellt die Omtec-KG eine weitere zuverlässige Systemlösungen bereit, der wie beim Vorgängermodel Nise 3140 für den Einsatz in der industriellen Umgebung für die Datenkommunikation, Sichtkontrolle, Videoüberwachung sehr viele Anwendungsmöglichkeiten findet.

Hauptaufgabengebiet des Nise 3144 ist die autarke Sicherung aller Daten direkt im Bereich der Bildverarbeitung. Das System bündelt sämtliche Informationen, per Firewire Kamera und steuert aktiv via Power over Ethernet angeschlossene Kontrollmodule.

Diese zeitnahe Erfassung von Bildern und Analysedaten in den einzelnen überwachten Prozessen garantiert den erfolgreichen Produktionsvorgang mittels Bildverarbeitung.

Basierend auf dem Intel® GM45 Graphik Chipsatz bietet dieses System eine leistungsstarke und energieeffiziente Plattform im Bereich lüfterloser Embedded Systeme und unterstützt den Einsatz von Core 2 Duo Prozessoren .

Das System besitzt 4 x RS232 Ports, wobei eine Schnittstelle umschaltbar auf RS422/485 mit automatic Flow Control ist.
Zwei GigabitLAN Ports stehen für die Netzwerkanbindung zur Verfügung, weiter sind ausgeführt, eine Standard LPT Schnittstelle, vier USB 2.0 Ports und KB/ Maus.

Für den Einsatz in der digitalen Bildverarbeitung kann das System mit Dual VGA Ports – oder mit VGA / DVI Schnittstelle bestellt werden.

4fach PoE, also Power over Ethernet zum anschließen von diversen Steuerungsmodulen, sowie 4 x Firewire 400 nach IEEE 1394b stehen zum Anschluß von Kontrollkameras zur Verfügung.

Das System kann über einen 240-Pin Sockel mit bis zu 4GB DDR3 Speicher ausgerüstet werden.

Ein robustes Aluminiumgehäuse und eine speziell für den lüfterlosen Einsatz konzipierte, auch bei Verwendung von leistungsfähigen Core 2 Duo Prozessoren, ausgelegtes thermisches Kühlsystem, gewährleisten den Betrieb ohne bewegliche Teile, wodurch Nise 3144 auch unter schwierigen Bedingungen zu einem extrem zuverlässigen System wird.

Für die Aufnahme des Betriebssystems stehen ein von außen zugänglicher, aber verschließbarer Compact Flash Slot oder auch die Einbaumöglichkeit einer 2.5“ IDE SATA Festplatte zur Verfügung.

Die Erweiterbarkeit des System wird ferner durch einen PCI  Slot sichergestellt.

Das System kann durch seinen weiten Spannungsbereich von 16 -30V DC flexibel im Temperaturbereich von -5 bis ­+55°C eingesetzt werden.
